Dont know how many have read the news today but it appears our local district council have a problem with individuals and companies that dare to display the English flag of St George. A local Taxi driver of 16 years has been threatened with having her licence revoked unless she removes the sticker flag from her vehicle. This action supported by elected ciir Mike Walters is an insult to every ...
Shopping online is great but it isent sustainable at todays pricing structure. Soon it will be unecconomic for thousands of delivery lorries to be running around all day and night and places like Dawlish and further into Cornwall will be the first to suffer unless new roads are built to improve access. This will be when the remaining supermarkets will be the only retailers left and consumers ...
If the Fun Fair lorries had done this we would still be paying for it Double standards at work again
Thats exaclty what the three levels of local goverment want you to do, shop at Sainsbury's that is. Why do you think they wanted them here in the first place. Tidy little earners for them giving supermarkets planning permission in return for section 106 agreements, and any other sweetners they can get off them Nothing will change until we get a goverment that is prepared to take on the ...
The lane was for years always fully open to road traffic so I think you may find that if anything illeagal has happened it was actually putting the bollards there thus obstructing the highway. Hope you get to the truth of what the leagal situation is as it caused quite a bit of controversey when whoever put the bollards there thus effectivley closing the road.
@Michael clayson As expected the political lies, book passing, and public missleading have extended to this topic. Wrote to Mr Pickles via e-mail to complain about his involvement in this planning application. The response is nothing short of a joke Via email Our Ref: ER/80/027910/13 9 October 2013 Thank you for your ...
The sensible answer here would seem to be build employment potential not houses. Its total madness to build hundreds of houses in a part of the country that has very few jobs, and those it has are either seasonal, part time or poorly paid most being all three. We need to be looking after the local born and bred that need housing assistance yes, but to encourage benifit depedant families from other ...
Why should I try to wind up someone I dont even know thats a rather stupid comment, but if your the guy who puts eggs in a box outside Carew Court you still owe me £20. In these days of compensation culture people will sue you for anything. We have to produce a risk assesment portfolio for every concievable event on our premises and yes we get regular visits from trading standards, food hygiene ...
Just to add to the above its just been on the News that the German owned company E-ON has just crapped on the British pensioners by withdrawing their over 60s fixed price tariff. Again they blame our government. Why dont they just hand over control to the British people and Fu** off back to their Euro shit countries. They all need a serious reminder of who won the war 70 odd years ago.
Just one point here isent the pratt thats just given the go ahead for hundreds more uneeded houses next to Sainsburys a Conservative and by doing so has he not overruled one of his own party controlled planning offices at Teignbridge. Double standards here I think. Perhaps Pickles and Billson would make a good name for a development company. Or has it something to do with Sainsbury's being a main ...
