In all seriousness though SteveJ, in 2009 an independent study by PwC showed that RDAs generated £4.50 for the local economy for every £1 of public spending. There are a lot of myths out there that the public school media peddle as facts.

Daily Mail readers have no sympathy for the school teachers. They believe that they earn about 9 grand a week as it is and only work 3 months a year due to endless bloody holidays.

Thanks to whomever read my message above, and then took the time and effort to ensure that the Gazette has a comprehensive review of ALL Dawlish United teams, from First Team to Under-9s and including the Girls team. Credit where it's due. I hope these reports continue and that the focus remains firmly upon the town's top club. Well done!

Well done to them for winning a makeover competition, but whereabouts in Dawlish is it? We'd like to do 'before and after' visits to it. Purely in the interests of science of course!

I see that the Gazette has printed 2 photos by Alfie Binyon (the boy that runs the Eyes of Dawlish group on Facebook). Lazy journalism or using the resources available to them? What do you think?

Does anyone know if the Nativity Play is taking place again in the bandstand thingy prior to the christmas lights switch on? We saw last years and thought it was hilarious.
