Truly affordable that the youngsters can afford that are built to a reasonable size , bungalows and a range of 2 3 and 4 bedroom houses with proper gardens and somewhere to put the bins that is not in a block 50 yards away from the property. Oh and off street parking for more than one car.

According to SWW the problem was a blockage after cleaning the pumps at Shutterton pumping station and is not a broken pipe.

@leatash by my very approximate calculation and from knowledge gained in the building industry the profit before taxes for the gatehouse site will be between 15 and 18 million pounds, taxes of course can be legally avoided in many ways.

I think that is what is likely to happen is that the middle site will sit on the land for 10 years after the others have been built so the link road will be without the middle bit. . I witnessed this many years ago in Bracknell sites started a few houses built and then nothing for 4 years then just as we moved the sites started again.
