Guess the rent!!!

@Lynne - i know when i was living in london around the early 1990's. council houses were being offered to the tenants from 65% current market value with a proviso they could not sell for three years from time of purchase. i remember one old girl who lived in a former council house behind me moaning that the council had not been round to install her new central heating system. she had already had ...

Young of today, old of tomorrow. The youth of today needs to seriously think about the decisions they allow their government to adopt today. Because tomorrow it is likely to bite them in the rear. It is to often that the young don't have any comprehension that all the old people walking around today were the children of decades gone by, scarey thought.

Guess the rent!!!

Why not go back to the good old days and build 100's of homes in one place and call it a housing association estate (in my day it was council estate because the local council actually ran it, sort of). Now wouldn't that resolve the issue of people not wanting to privately buy on an estate where there are housing association houses? BENIFITS THE FACTS

At the very least a meeting  should be arranged by the councillors to allow the people of Dawlish to ask questions directly to these representatives of our local council and get clear and concise answers. The Manor house might be a ...

I bet if you stopped the councillors pay until Dawlish was fit for purpose your head would spin at how quickly they would get it resolved!

25/02/14 - Decision = Outline Refusal.

@Mrs C - from your above comment are you implying that the car park would be free to park in? I think not. How would you control the number of vehicles parking there and not using waitrose to shop in?  It is probable that the car park will be pay and display and with a minimum spend of £10 to get free parking for the 1 1/2 hour limit. I may be wrong, but it certainly won't be free.
