A quick update on the freight train derailment between Castle Cary and Westbury. Network Rail have today confirmed that the line will re-open at 2200 tomorrow, Friday (24 March). Services will therefore operate normally from Saturday (25 March), albeit that there are improvement works between Reading and London on Sunday (26 March).

Just do what others and show complete disrespect by parking wherever they want, even in the reserved spaces for the doctors. Also, as everyone has a timed appointment, the car park shouldnt be that full, especially as there are plenty of spaces in the Barton car park next to the museum. Or get the town (#186) bus.

As far as I am aware, the Methodist Church still run a pre-school play group. My children enjoyed it when they were infants. Runs on a Thursday morning so call in the church and ask staff at the cafe about it? You can get a really nice coffee and cake from them too. Yesterday's fixfest was well attended with over 40 fixes provided by highly skilled volunteer fixers. The organisers hope to do something similar again in the autumn.
