Man has done more damage to the wild life on this planet, perhaps this is a small way to protect some.

Now that parliament will be officially disolved this afternoon, will the MP's that are now, be signing on at their local job centre. After all, many will be without a job and I presume without pay until either they are re-elected or until they find another job. ?????????????????????????????? I wonder.

So the government has reluctanly decided not to appeal a decision by the courts that they must published the report on clean air and they have said they will publish before the 9th of May. So I can breath easier now

As I have said on other threads - I would vote for every election that comes my way if the voting list had a box for NONE OF THE ABOVE.
I expected a reply but as yet nothing, now if i recieved a letter like the one i sent him, from a 40 year long member, I would want to talk it out and try and resolve a few matters.
Why take on the role if they don't have the heart to support the local people's wishes? Sad to see a beautiful town being run into the ground due to a council who seems bent over backwards to do all the things the Dawlish people do not want.
This is an intersting insight into those who represent us in government; http://www.huffingtonpost.com/david-freeman/are-politicians-psychopaths_b_1818648.html This excerpt stands out from Dr Martha Stout. "Anyway, when I asked Dr. Stout if there’s any truth to the contention that politicians are more likely to be psychopaths, she said in an email that no solid statistics were available to ...

No i don't moan, could be worse, i could have born in any other numbers of countries where it's much worse than here. I just let them get on with it and laugh at those who get frustrated.
The attached article highlights the reason why crime is so rife. A judicial system that lacks any backbone to dish out relevant sentences. The best part being he may well be residing back in Dawlish, again, really. I certainly would not want him living near me. Additional info:- ...
Haunt the politians - besides, why would you want to haunt me.

How come? The breakdown of society, an ideology of austerity, a lack of compassion, desparation., political apathy., crime as a last resort, drug abuse as a means of temporary escapism from a harsh reality.. leading to an unsafe environment...same story all across fragmented Britain. The amount of agrees to the original post is not a great advert for Dawlish

Great pics.....although I did a double take on the RIB with the 2 dogs.....admit it.....the pattern on the boat does make it look like the lady has a huge bottom!
Does this really need to publicised? RIP. Now have some respect for the family's privacy at this sad time.
Is he doing his unpaid community work yet? and if so what work is he doing.
I say bring back Mary Lowther!
Not exactly breaking news considering the theft took place on the 10th March. I did not realise that Dawlish News is a monthy rag.

Your right about environment legislation issues Lynne. I've read that a large percentage of directives - perhaps the sort that protect estuary wildlife habitats and which are about to help bring forward significant open green spaces here in Dawlish and Exminster - may end up on a bonfire of 'red tape' under the Great Repeal Bill, following our EU departure. These open spaces will have been ...

Quite, Lynne. The NHS cannot wait until the cusp of the next general election to be thrown a lifeline. Meanwhile that very real figure of £50 million a year is disappearing through doctors being trained here, then taking their skills abroad - even before the extra cost of locum doctors comes into play.

We have an increasingly ageing population. And I am one of those adding to it. So I may have (after all, who knows what the future holds?) a vested interest as to how the present crisis in adult social care might be resolved.
