Are you talking about those concrete huts that everyone was moaning about for being unsightly drinking dens for the towns drunkards? Apologies if I've got the wrong location. PS I think the Strand is a vastly improved experience for pedestrians since it was upgraded.

My favourite sections of the Tarka Trail are the two that go between Barnstaple and Instow, via Framlington. As for our cyclepath through Dawlish - I love it too and I'm very pleased with the work done so far to link us to Exeter and beyond - bring on the link to/from Teignmouth ASAP please!
Thank you for this thread. It's prompted me to contact Devon County Council yesterday about the state of Dawlish Bridleway 3, and today I've had an email back from the Public Rights of Way Senior Officer at DCC. The assessment of the Bridleway is anticipated to be completed by 5th September, and I've got a reference to allow me to check its progress online. Nice and simple, as it should be.
