Would you rather the councillors kept everything they know for the secret closed session they always have after every council meeting. Its good they come on here and aire their views. What makes it more interesting is deciding wether to believe what they say or not. In the old days when it was the Lib Dems v Conservatives we the electorate got to know nothing and you may have noticed its ...
Good news, perhaps Dawlish council should buy a pick up truck with the savings lol
And who's going to be paying the insurance and repair bills for all these councillors to be able to use this vehicle. Cant wait for the descrepencies in the fuel account.
There were hundreds in Wales and the Northwest closed yesterday
@Lynne Agree with you on that one, that old cricket pavilion is a lovely building and as you say would make an excellent cafe or adult only wine bar, and a focal point for say the mobile stage as above. Adding to the excerise equipment idea, that stage trailer when empty can also accomodate those sort of machines ie treadmills and bikes plus weight training equip. Has a sound system for ...
A friend of mine offered his solution with very attractive rates. Maybe Teignbridge should give it a try, or even buy their own
If the SW is to speak with one voice then the coast line through Dawlish and Teignmouth is doomed from the off. With joint populations of under 30,000, what chance do we have against the whole of Cornwall, Plymouth and most of Exeter. Whilst having an open mind on the future of the line, it would certainly do no harm to have a plan in place for redeveloping what would remian after its closure. ...
Lynne has a valid point and something that has peed me off for years, which is why does the whole country get judged and punished for what happens in and around London. Im sick to death of hearing about their soaring house prices and their need for more and more money. Its that part of the country that caused the finacial collapse in 2008 yet they always seem to come out sqeaky clean. Their house ...
What do most people think of when you mention going Private though. I was on a company BUPA scheme for years and during that time had two minor operations. Both where carried out at NHS hospitals using NHS facilities and as far as I know NHS staff. It isent really a seperate health scheme, its just a paid queue jumping excerise and an extra bonus for the consultant who brings in the refereals, ...
just to make a small comment here without having to much of a dig at the NHS but isent car parking an issue at most large hospitals. I refere locally of course to Exeter, Torbay, Plymouth and Trelisk. Im not 100% sure but most of the above mentioned seem to promote and advise use of their local commercial park and ride schemes. For fact Exeter actually give these details with your admission ...
