A burglar who failed to do community service work has told a judge that he could not do it because he was too busy working on flood defences in Dawlish. The £85,000 per year salery for her role as police commissioner is probably not her only income sorce as the job obviously comes with additional benifits. What about her pension and golden handshake payment when she leaves the post. Pretty shure the police authority would benifit financially without her.

The point is Leatash that it could be decided legally that the government has to compensated the WASPI women. Therefore it should be fiscal sense for whoever it is who forms the government to put money aside - just in case.

A pensioner has been sent to a secure ward after he attacked a terrified carer with an axe as she was visiting his home in Tiverton.
