A newly-released sex offender broke an order to stay away from children by staying at the home of a young mother who had a nine-year-old daughter. The order was imposed when he was jailed in March 2015 for having under age sex with a 15-year-old girl in a woodland den which he had built in land near Dawlish Fire Station. Stewart, aged 24, of no fixed address and previously of Teignmouth and ...
Just to be clear for anyone else reading this - best before end is a guide used by manufacturers to tell you when the flavour of the food may start to deteriorate (all still edible) Whereas a use by date is when the food should be eaten because it will go off and may lead to food poisoning. But eyes and nose are the best guide for that and a day or two after may not matter. Frequently find stuff ...
Ahh, poor didums being stuck on a train. As for being 'blacked out' to save battery power, it must have broken down at approx 1215 hrs, and at that time, there was plenty of daylight although cloudy and raining, so someone is looking for excess compensation and wanting some publicity, which they have got. Oh, I got wet when I got out of my car and walked 10 metres from the car park to Sainsburys. ...

Is it not possible to reinstate the gabions? Why were they legally required to remove them when they had worked in the past? It doesn’t seem to make sense.
When will someone say enough is enough and force CC to use their HST fleet on this line as these are not affected by the waves?
Should have served 2 years, peice of dog poop

The £85,000 per year salery for her role as police commissioner is probably not her only income sorce as the job obviously comes with additional benifits. What about her pension and golden handshake payment when she leaves the post. Pretty shure the police authority would benifit financially without her.
@ Fredbassett I agree, electric cars are a con. The Green New Deal is just a con too, its an opportunity for corporations make huge profits from the coming 'green industrial revolution'. They see it a as huge opportunity.
@Margaret Swift I agree with with a radical reform of managment. But it's also about people taking more responsibility for their own health and educating themselves about how diet and lifestyle is linked to many modern diseases. Ideallly help should be given to those to quit addictive unhealthy behaviours such as smoking, alcohol consumption, over-eating (especially junk food). As this is really a ...

They will say anything to get into power for the next 5 years. The only thing that you can bank on is their pay will go UP every year and taxes will continue to increase. Other than that same old, same old. Call me cynical, but I have witnessed this many times in my 60 years of living in this beggars paradise we call the UK.
The point is Leatash that it could be decided legally that the government has to compensated the WASPI women. Therefore it should be fiscal sense for whoever it is who forms the government to put money aside - just in case.

Sidmouth is an excellent example. Two of the project managers and the lead engineer told me at the first consultation, in answer to my question, that man-made reefs out at sea was the best option but was also the most expensive option. I did point out that as this was a project to protect the line for the next 100 years then cutting on costs was particularly shortsighted. Surely they should have ...
