We are pleased to announce some good news this morning - 5 cygnets have hatched from the eggs which were being incubated. 3 cygnets will be in the window hopefully (Tuesday) and 2 are still 'drying off' in the incubator. They look in good health but obviously it is very early days and the wardens will monitor their progress over the coming days.

THERE will be a Housing Crisis Street Stall on Saturday, February 26, between 10.30am and 12.30pm outside the Co-op in the Strand, Dawlish. We are sad to inform everyone that there has been an unfortunate incident where the father black swan has been killed by a dog on a lead in Tuck's Plot. The waterfowl wardens have the removed the eggs from the nest to continue their incubation in the compound.
