Walking in the direction of Sainsbury's from the junction of Secmaton Rise and Secmaton Lane there is a large nest of what looks like wasps on the left bank opposite a house called Highlands?/Highfield? I believe the land adjacent to the Lanherne sheltered housing scheme located on Exeter Road and which used to be allotments (but which is now very wildly overgrown) is a site that TDC has its eyes on for future council housing development. What age group target, what type of accommodation, how much etc I do not know.
Teignbridge is building council housing again for the first time in 25 years. Was at Sandy Lane playing fields yesterday, first time in weeks. Noticed that retractable bollards have now been placed in front of the gate where the lock was broken and entry to the fields was then made by the travellers.
