No update last week, as the only court appearance was by someone from the town who entered a Not Guilty plea. This weeks update is.......................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................###### ...
And Google has also found that poet Richard Harris Dalton Barham is buried in Dawlish. If you enter the cemetery by the main gates on Oak Hill, his grave is in the first row on the left.
Google has found authors by the name of Jenna Dawlish and Daphne Dawlish.

Don't forget that Colin Dexter, the author of the Inspector Morse series has huge Dawlish connections. Does anyone think there should be a Letsby Avenue?
Thanks for pointing that out Lynne. And also for teaching me what the word "patronising" means. Yes, Yvonne is the miserable sows name. Lynne is a different one altogether...
I see that there are yet more threads on that awful EOD site slagging off Dawlish. Who the hell are those miserable beggars Yvonne Graves and Huw Matthews??????! They need to get a life (or a job). All they do is moan, moan, moan. Thank goodness we have this site for intelligent and generally constructive discussion
Can't say fairer than that Libby. I'd add Starbucks, Subway, Taco Bell and Dunkin Donuts to your list of shame. That said, I'd be very happy if someone opened a DFC in town - as long as they used ethically farmed chickens packaged in recycled cardboard boxes of course.
Out of interest Libby, why not?
Having now read the Gazette for myself, I take back my original comment about David Force. Clearly he's taking action and not just conplaining, unlike some I could mention. It was nice to read that he has used a lot of the same wording as I have to describe the most expensive pavement in England!
