Understand TDC officers saying the tender that was awarded a few months back is still progressing. There is no problem. TDC just hasn't gotten around to taking the To (i) Let sign down. Wonder how long it will take 'em? P'raps they should put a 'taking all our signs down when out of date so as not to cause confusion and cause unnecessary rumours to start circulating' tender out?

The hedgerow between the Exeter Road and the pathway just up from the junction of Secmaton Lane and the A379 and which goes up towards Langdon Hospital has been given quite a severe back and sides. Has that happened before at this time of year or is it the first time it's happened?
Yes that could explain it. So, why hasn't it been removed then? That tender got awarded some few months back.

It is presently TDC's policy that the new housing developments in Dawlish scheduled to be built in the Gatehouse/Secmaton/Langdon areas of the town should provide 25% affordable housing (affordable = 1.rented up to 80% of market rates and 2.shared ownership of some kind).
