A Dawlish woman believed to be in her 70's was left badly shaken when she had her car stopped by two youths. One of the young men lay down in front of her car forcing the driver to stop. The problem with cats are they always like to dig soil which has been freshly dug. Image having spent many a back aching hours in your garden or allotment planting your seeds hoping for a fruitful result only to see your fury friend digging them up!!

Sorry to disagree with you Jam100 but there are a lot of cats who don't bury their excrement. I have myself witnessed on many occasion a cat digging relieving its self and just walking away.

Does anyone know who was responsible for the firework display at Sandy Lane last night after 11pm. It would have been nice (polite) to have warned people living nearby who have animals so their owners could have been prepared. I wonder who these people think is going to clear all the debris they left behind.

Residents from Cockwood,Eastdon and parts of Dawlish Warren are set to lose the Go2 bus service. As from January 2009 Stagecoach buses will bypass Cockwood and head towards Dawlish on the A379. I am so sorry you lost your beloved cat Runella. I agree with you Roy doesn't sound a very nice person. Maybe he wasn't allowed to have animals as a child and never had the experience of losing something that you learnt to love. Or maybe he is just not a very nice person!

Two men from Dawlish age 27 and 25 have been arrested on suspicion of stealing a car. A dog handler followed a blue Vauxhall Corsa being driven erratically towards a car park in Newton Abbott at 3.40am yesterday. The passenger tried to walk away but the handler with help from his dog detained the two men until other units arrived. Both men were arrested.

A Dawlish resident thinks Tourists who feed seagulls should be fined. The resident said they had been swooped on when walking along The Brook and had also been 'verbally abused' when remonstrating with someone who was feeding the gulls.
