Oh pardon me, I thought you were referring to the bit about taking housing benefit under false pretences.  That's okay then.

That wasn't my question Margaret, try again. You would get sympathy for not necessarily knowing the background, but when challenged as aggressively as you have been, would it not have been wise to follow up the hint?  Instead you have let your vote-winning lambasting of Mrs C distract you from seeking the truth and you have now nailed your colours so firmly to the mast you can't backtrack. ...

Margaret, as a councillor who should looking out for council tax payers, are you 100%, absolutely, categorically, certain that Mrs C's post was not only nasty and vicious, but more importantly, factually inaccurate?

Good question.   I think the Lawn issue became unsavoury, it stopped being about views and got personal.  And when it does get personal people tend to think they are good/right and the other side is bad/wrong, which is what's happening now.    I don't know anyone on this site from Adam, I base this on what's being posted, but am I the only one who has figured out why Mrs C is goading Cllr Swift, ...

Well I'll thank you, even if they don't.   I believe in good karma anyway - do someone a good turn and someone else will do you a good turn another time.

Has the role been good for Dawlish?  I have no idea.

I see it also says they haven't decided whether to replace her.

Well I gave up commenting because I couldn't keep up with all the ranting and rambling.  So if it wasn't arson it was an accident.  That's better isn't it?

Oh the irony, it turns out Mrs C was correct.   I won't be posting the press report, but it's out there on t'interweb. Humble pie anyone?

It's a shame councils don't have powers to intervene when business properties remain unoccupied for a period of time.  Ryders Bakery on Park Road is one such example, it's a disgrace.   I now see an application has been made to convert it into flats, so leaving it vacant has eventually made it more valuable.
