I was not surprised at the letter from a holiday maker in the Dawlish Gazette, which said "I could not believe the number of adults sitting under the covers drinking and smoking" worst to come, one of their dogs attacked a bystander's dog and then two of the men stoot and urinated while looking over at the people playing bowls and laughing She was shocked that there was a police shop across from ...
Sergeant Adam Swift was awarded the Military Cross for two seperate incidents in which he charged at Taliban positions. In October last year, he and his men lay hidden just 20m from five insurgents so they could watch what they were doing and allow a trapped group of comrades to escape. Five months later, he charged across open ground under fire so stretcher bearers could recover a casualty. ...
My experience of a confrontation with such people are you come off worse because the bullies are manipulative and have a way of getting out of such situations.
I felt sadden to read the front page of this weeks Dawlish Gazette. 'Bullies' force mum to keep son at home. The bullies should be named and shamed and pulled out of school as they are a waste of space in school and would rather spend their time plotting to bully than to be educated. I think Tom's mum has the right idea and i'm sure he will end up with a good career. As for the bullies well!
A Dawlish man and two boys from Teignmouth age 16 and 17 have appeared in court accused of 'physically and mentally' torturing a cat. It is alleged the one-year-old cat was put in a microwave oven, tumble dryer and freezer. The case was adjourned until October 8th. The cat is being cared for by the RSPCA.
There were quite a few councillors turning up smiling for the photographers.
I think things have gone off track. There is definitively something going on as there is sound of a radio etc!!!!!!!!!!!!
Has anyone walked along the cliff path towards Dawlish Warren recently and noticed a large tent hidden in the undergrowth on the cliff edge. There is music and movement coming from the tent. Could someone be living or (hiding) there!!!!!!!!!!
What a brilliant carnival despite the weather. Congratulations to all the people who worked so hard . Carnival week would not be the same without the few old committee members and helpers especially John O.D. Who entertains everyone.
PJD Don't let Dawlish Man get to you Rise above him . He is obviously a very sad person!!!!!!!!
