Thank you Lynne, I totally agree with you. I have grandchildren who work very hard at their education and are heading towards university. It does put a strain on the whole family as we all want the best for their future.

Devon County Council has bought 100 pay-and-display parking meters at a cost of £290,000, despite being in the process of a public consultation. A lot of the new meters would replace some old ones. A lot of people on the Elmgrove Estate are concerned. Years ago you didn't have pubs open until am also there weren't groups of youngsters out causing trouble half the night. I think there will be a large increase in crime.
Don't forget the Christmas Market next Sunday. Shame there's not more trees in the strand,even less than last year.
