Just walked to Dawlish Warren along the beach from the Rockstone and couldn't believe the disgusting state with loads of rubbish everywhere. It's no wonder there was nobody using that part of the beach.
All rural areas in Teignbridge will see their parking charges on Sundays dropped from August 7th until March 31st 2012. Dawlish, Teignmouth and Newton Abbot will be joining the pilot scheme from Sunday October 30th this year.
Sainsbury's will open their new store and petrol station to the public at 9am on Wednesday August 3rd at 9am. The new store which is just off the Exeter Road in Dawlish is slightly smaller than its Newton Abbot store and will employ 220 people.

Counterfeit clothes, shoes and DVDs have been discovered by Trading Standards Officers at the Sunburnt Arms, Warren Road, Dawlish Warren during a joint operation with police. A member of the public spotted a carrier bag moving on the beach at Dawlish Warren. When they untied the bag they found a three-month-old kitten inside. The kitten is now been cared for at the RSPCA Little Valley Animal Shelter Exeter, and is healthy but was traumatised by its experience.
