Need a cull of seagulls but the do gooders would be up in arms, should be named landgulls as majority of time surviving on fish suppers / bin contents and duck food. Not the first time gulls have killed  potential adult swans by killing young cygnets a few years ago.

Certain branded bottle of drink, never on promotion suddenly gone from £1.50 to £2 per bottle 33% increase nicely timed before xmas / new year ......welcome to rip off Sainaburys,  suppose someone has to pay for them trying and failing to match Lidls and Morrisons veg offer.

Probably did not meet BBC diversity tick box criteria e.g one disabled person one non white person etc etc

So after our local MP "warned " the goverment to continue this ( see Nov MDA report post ) it seems they have taken no notice of him but hey its good lib dem  PR to pretend  as if the labour goverment ever would listen to a minority party.

@carer They have been on for weeks if not months for those items so its just a co- incidence they are all withdrawn after the power outage ???

Noticed that after sainsbuys threw away a load of food due to power issue they have restocked the ready meals section and removed all nectar card discounts from the ready meals .Well Joe public has to pay for their screw up certainly they are not going to take the hit for that.

Third time this story is on.

Alledgly all frozen food dumped rather than offered  to charity/foodbanks. . Assume its because they so not want sued in case anyone eats it and complains. However makes mockery of supermarkets PR strategy by virtue signalling of showing  pictures of collections of food raised for chairity as its a tick box exercise as publicity for the supermarket.
