Dawlish and the wider area will benefit from the Tesco development in many ways.
Sounds like a reasonable location except Exeter road is more accessible.
Sandy Lane is the best place for Tesco. Many people will be able to walk to the Sandy Lane Tesco store including me.
Sainsbury's at Shutterton brilliant, I totally agree with that idea, but it is not within walking distance of much of the town. Tesco at Sandy Lane would be an excellent addition to the towns facilities.
Having Tescos at Sandy Lane would bring cheap prices close to home. Great for the environment
