Concrete pumping pipe in place for work starting on Monday 19th January. Use of the pump will be intermittent and driven solely by number of pre-cast concrete installed during suitable weather and tide conditions. The work will be on-going 24/7 to suit tidal constraints and will last for approximately 16 weeks. More pics..

The race is run over 10 country miles from Dawlish Leisure Centre and back, heading out to the Obelisk monument at Mamhead, along the green lanes and forest tracks which are always very wet, very hilly and seriously muddy. THE famous black swans at Dawlish have been in danger of dying out after the loss of female swans this year. Rose, who has fed the swans for 25 years, has bought two ebony-coloured female swans to partner up with the existing two male swans living at the Brook which runs through the middle of the town to the sea.
