Maybe everyone is missing the point the recent servey for the strand only attracted 361 votes cast out of a population of 13000 maybe people just don't care about the shops in the Strand. If 2 or 3 thousand had voted it would have shown some level of concern as it stands i believe nobody cares its to easy to get in the car and go to Asda Tesco Morrisons or Sainsburys they give folk what they want ...

Lynne people generally have there head in the sand with regards sea level rise and global warming issues in general. Most of my friends who are not stupid by any means wont discus it i was recently asked at a dinner party not to mention global warming as it upset people. Well said Warrener although retired i feel very strongly about public sector pensions i am amazed how you can sign a contract and then it is changed at will by a government who haven't got the guts to tackle the bankers who helped to get us in this mess.
