David Moore, aged 71, was living at the Palm Court nursing home in Dawlish when he passed away on January 1 this year. A post mortem revealed Mr Moore, a retired airport manager, died as a result of choking, with dementia being a contributory factor. A 49-year-old man has been jailed after police raided a property in Dawlish and found more than £100,000 worth of heroin in the freezer and wardrobe. On 15 June 2019, police executed a Misuse of Drugs Act warrant at an address in Dawlish where they located a large quantity of controlled drugs in the freezer and in the wardrobe.
