The worst offender of all the companies for broken monitors installed in swimming waters is South West Water, which had 31 broken monitors. Beaches at Bude in Cornwall as well as Dawlish in Devon and Lyme Regis in Dorset all have sewage monitors installed which have been faulty in both 2021 and 2022.
