As to profiteering, sainsburys had o% alcohol cider on at £1.50 bottle same as Lidl. They then upped it to £2 per bottle a rise of 33% where lidl keep it at £1.50. Perhaps you think they were selling at a loss and a 33% mark up is fine for the company that made over a billion in profit.
Find it ironic that teignbridge council is represented when they continue to raise rates which is one of the root causes of cost of iiving issues.....
Seems like the only option is to never go surfing after heavy rain as water companies and politicans dont give a "sh*t "about this, only profits to shareholders matter.

Yes, the labels on the shelves showing the PRICE and particular BRAND of the of those low cost wines. Obviously they stocked other Merlot and Shiraz brands at higher prices, so to answer your question it looks like you are...........

Perhaps you have been drinking too much wine and your memory has become clouded. As stated the merlot and shiraz bottles which used to occupy the lower shelf have been priced at under a fiver for months and months. It was not on an "offer".
