Let's hope they don't find the funding!

Really pleased that a date has been announced for the official opening of our fantastic new countryside park. I'm sure it'll be a great attraction for locals and visitors alike.

The town council's Finance and General Purposes commitee meets this Thursday (20th) at 7.00pm. Before the formal meeting starts there will be a presentation on the Dawlish to T'mouth extension of the Exe Estuary cycle trail. The presentation is due to start at 6.30pm.

The town council's Finance and General Purposes Committee is meeting this Thursday (20th). Item 5 on the agenda concerns how funding might be found for buiding a playpark on the lawn. Meeting starts 7.00pm

Thats no argument TDC are a business their car parks are profitable it stands to reason if they allow free parking they will not be prepared to lose revenue so will charge extra for something else well I can't carry on with the discusion as I am off to walk the Pennine Way, back in 10 days people.

its now OLD news obviously,so see will let the outrage??? die down and get back to her surgeries.  Items like the proposed playpark in dawlish,food banks, et deserve more attention that the MP's slip of the tounge, and the response of  liberal/politcal point scoreing / chattering classes keeps me amused..

Believe me there is lots of evidence, we have a co-op they are the hub of everything Fiartrade. In fairness, Dawlish has been a fairtrade town for a long time, just not been sign posted as one. What I'm annoyed about is that money is spent on signage when other signs need addressing more importantly.

Aparently the manor play park is good for mackerel.
