One fire appliance from Dawlish and two from Teignmouth attended a two vehicle road traffic collision where one female casualty was trapped. Crews arrived on scene and got to work with hydraulic cutting equipment to release the casualty. Police and Ambulance also attended. POLICE have slammed a closure order on a house in Dawlish after neighbours said their lives were being made a misery by alleged drug taking and vehicle crime. Neighbourhood officers went to court on Friday morning to secure a 'closure order' on the property. It is understood they feared for the safety of children and vulnerable adults visiting the house. Alison Foden, who works at the RD&E Hospital, has used the Hop 2 service daily for 13 years. The service, which goes from Newton Abbot, through Teignmouth and Dawlish, into Exeter, runs three times an hour at peak times.
