I agree DEE. This is a town that has no Law and certainly no order. Smackheads and drunks just go about their daily business each and every day in public places with impunity. Calling 101 is, as you say in this country "not fit for purpose"

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was punched in the face and hit with an iron bar in an attack police believe is a hate crime. Well I've often thought that you must have some kind of alert system when it comes to my postings because as I say it is usually nanno second stuff in terms of your responding. I was beginning to think you might have been stuck in a very long queue at a passport control somewhere..........

Do you know burnside I had only but a moment ago said to someone "I don''t know where Burneside is - he usually posts a reponse within nanno seconds of my referring to the EU". What have you been doing all this time? Thinking up what to say in response?

The words stable door/horse/bolted spring to mind.  It's a bit late in the day to be tightening up security when the borders have been leaking like a sieve for years.  And, of course, once somebody has gained entry to a Schengen country they can travel unhindered right across Europe, and end up in Calais to try to gain entry to the UK illegally.

So pleased to have a cafe back that overlooksthe sea. I wish them all the luck in the  world.
