Do you realise that there's a difference between casual cyclists and club cyclists who are training for races? Plenty of casual cyclists are using the new cyclepath, so it's just playing to the audience to call it a white elephant.
That is quite shocking, why do people feel the need to be so stupid. I mean on the beach, you wouldn't kick a ball about if it was too busy and you certainly wouldn't play cricket in a crowded area, so what sense of common decency is it to even consider playing golf on the Lawn. We need better watch system in place thats for sure.
It would appear that we have a new golf course in Dawlish. Yesterday Sunday about 5pm Four drunks and smackheads attempting to play golf on the Lawns here in Dawlish. Thing is, surely, we want visitors to come to the town and stay in the town. I often use the strands various cafe's for a drink or a bite, but many close very early, which is a great shame.

A man was pronounced dead at the scene after being hit by a freight train in Exeter today. A spokesperson for British Transport Police, who were called to the scene at 8.30am, said a freight train from Dawlish was involved and the man died at the scene despite the arrival of paramedics.
