It always makes me smile wryly when people assume that in-store grocery prices are going to be the same as online prices. Oh, and for the sake of accuracy, there's no such store as "Bargains Galore" in Kingsteignton. It's "Home Bargains", who are one of those short shelf life merchants.

Aern't you lucky! there are very few that have escaped one or the other. Regarding the costs. I gather that you have already bought a vehicle, taxed it, insured it and got it mot'd (if required) , You garage it for 364 days and then on the 365 day, drive it a mile down the road, thats an expensive miles to the gallon job.. Those costs are included in the AA/RAC calculations whether you use you ...

Well i have been driving for over 50 years and never had a parking ticket a speeding fine or never stopped for any motoring offence and the point about the cost per mile of running a car is the what it costs to keep that car on the road each year and whatever you may think it cost you dosh to get the four items unless you walked.

The AA and the RAC have inluded everything to work out the MPG and they don't include PCN for parking contraventions or FPN for speeding or other motoring offences which most people get sooner or later, but once you have paid your tax, insurance, mot if that is required, that takes a big chunk out of your running costs because you have alrady had to pay for it. £12  voucher is it worth it? I ...

And don't forget the time it takes to shop around and the availability of supermarkets. Not everyone has the time. And not everywhere has a selection of supermarkets in close vicinity to choose from. Until recently we had a dearth of supermarkets in this area. No option but to travel to Exeter or NA. Now there is a Sainsburys in Dawlish and a Morrisons in T'mouth.  Plus some co-op outlets. ...

I have friends who go to Teighnmouth to get fuel as they save 1 or 2 pence a litre and they dont see it costs them more to get it than they save, "hows that they say" well a tank only hold a max 60 litres saving 60p or a max of £1.20 but first you wont get 60 litres the tanks never that empty and its 10 miles there and back so it costs that in fuel to get it. But they still do it why a dont know ...

They are AA and RAC figures not mine folk dont realise what it costs to run a car fuel.vel, insurance, servicing, tyres, depreciation, mot etc etc and it can rise to 68p per mile depending on the car but hey it's your choice so if the AA,RAC are correct it cost you £9.00 to save £4.00.  And of course if you only take the fuel into account there is no way you saved £4.00 if you want to save money look ...

leatash, so you think that saving £4 on just 8 items is not worth shopping around. I plan my journey's so that I do not waste money on that. Quite where you get 45p per mile makes me think you are driving a double decker bus. I kill many birds with one stone, so the saying goes-I think. You may think the nectar card and vouchers are a good idea. You should watch a programm on BBC called "rip off ...
