Just had a reply back from Torbay Borough Council and they are deeper in pooh than DCC. The cost to the council and ultimately to the tax payer will be in excess of £200,000. And people vote in those that are supposed to be looking after our affairs. Yeah- alright then. So are councillors fit for purpose and more importantly the officers that they employ to carry out the functions they are given?

Now when I first notified cllr prowse of this problem see the bracketed letter at the end [], they were in denial. It has taken months and many hours to convince DCC that they had broken the law, but as you will see from reading the article through to the end, they are still in denial. Cllr Prowse does not do computers, so I have to update him continuously. It has even taken many many months to ...

Been up to the new country park a few times now. Only a couple of dog poo bags seen, so that's good.  Will get even better as the whole place matures a bit too.   And I am sure I caught a couple at it by the woods as well, but I wasn't really paying attention to them until they jumped up!

Low pay/not having enough money to pay bills etc is indeed a subject to be taken seriously.* But bear with me if now I sound frivolous on the subject. So........... all these low income families in Dawlish are going to spend their spare income (what spare income?!!!?? ) in the shops in the centre of town when they come into town in order to take their under 8 year olds to the proposed ...

It is indeed. Rather than looking at the way a certain party is operating, should we not be taking Dawlish as an example and looking at the different rates people get for simular jobs, and the difference between those working in enviroments where more money should be applicable.

Low pay is endemic in the uk and that is official. There are more people claiming benefits that are in work, than there are claimants who are out of work. What does that say about the way the conservative party is operating? What I can say is that people on low pay are only sudsidising the employers they are working for. Bless all those who will have to bare greater burdens when interest rates ...
