The other side of the coin, i noticed yesterday two of those in the happy hut on the latest iphone's more than i can afford. I wonder if they bank online.

I agree, that is exactly what the banks want, everyone banking online. It’s the same with the surgery, they want you to order your repeat prescriptions online and in order to push us into doing so we can no longer drop them off at Boots. If you don’t do it online you HAVE to take it to the surgery! But.........what about those people not online, who maybe can’t afford to pay for internet access? ...

Well as i have often commented i dont remember the last time i paid a visit to my bank it's certainly not within the last five years and it wont be long before our last bank in Dawlish is closed as more folk bank online.   The other thing i notice is it's very rare i use cash these days in fact i have yet to have a new ten pound note in my hand my debit card is all i need and thats another reason ...

NatWest in Teignmouth is to close in the next few months. I don’t know how NatWest can justify this decision as every time I go into the bank the queue is horrendous, showing clearly it is a well used branch.

I hope that Peter Harry and Martin Dix (not Dicks) made their peace before the latters sad passing. What a double act they were. Welcome back Leatash, hope you had a good break.

And all this because a dog owner couldnt do what she wanted maybe we should go to Brixham and put some choice words on trip advisor we could start the report with "THE SMELL OF FISH IS CONSTANTLY IN THE AIR WHILE WALKING ROUND BRIXHAM"

There is a full council meeting this evening. I wonder if the signs and last Friday's media coverage will get a mention?

Why not spend the money on replacing the hideous bandstand we have put up with for years? And I do mean a BANDSTAND, not an awful out of place armadillo as was proposed in 2014. There are some excellent examples of tasteful bandstands, Exmouth and Dartmouth spring to mind. At least it would be used by every age group and actually enhance the lawn area. Ok, I’m now waiting for Mrs C to make ...

The town centre projects. Unless everything to do with the lawn, is going to be done for free. Is that possible? I don't know.
