The only way to help those requiring a roof over their heads is to use a large percentage of the smaller new builds as subsidised rental homes. As was the original idea of the council estates. The problem with the council estates philosphy was that social services never did their job. That being to monitor those renting and make sure they did not stay their for generations. Those that kept ...
Landlords may have to pay the 3% stamp duty, but as the same with any business, in it for profit, it is the customer who will end up paying the price for these increases. As with most things those in power have little understanding of the effects there actions have as long as there is money or votes to be made.
In my opinion it is the league who needs to be fined not the swimming clubs. It was their actions that caused the issue in the first place not the swimming clubs. It would seem the League is salivating over the chance of making £2500 in fines for their own incompetence, that's my feeling.

@Carer - i find your comment, 03/11/15 06:31, just highlights the ignorant, selfish attitude of many in this day and age. what reason is there to sell explosives to untrained people to igniite at their whim throughout the year. How many people, pets, wildstock and properties are injured/damaged every year! How much money is spent by emergency services and hospitals every year and how many ...
@1263 - i agree with you on getting rid of the comissioners, a completely useless excercise in employing a watchdog to oversee the police. paid an extorniate amount of money for being dead weight in a time when the government is screwing exvery penny out of the public services, whilst discussing spending £100 billion on major projects, plus the hs2 fiasco. I would like to see a breakdown ...
To add insult to injury the mp's got a 10% payrise this year and a large pension's bonus. Now that's what the reality of politics is all about. Do you think you would have half these hoorah henry's being mp's if they were payed the minimum wage?
