@ZIGGY - such an unwanted act of vandalism, in my opinion. i can see no reason why anyone would go to this effort to butcher these trees. if the council had done it they would have left all the branches strewn around. as they have done above boat cove in dawlish. @Morty Vicker - manifesto's are invariably constructed around details that will encourage people to vote for them more so than actual truths, in my opinion obviously.
Powderham is presumably making a fair amount of money from this event. It seems only just that they should incurr some of the inconvience of mass volumes of vehicles by opening up their fields for parking. They seem to have had no issues with this in the past!
Dawlish is a lovely seaside town with many activities, there are better towns and worse towns. I belive it comes down to personal preference. I would suggest experiencing the town first hand by spending a week or two down here this summer.
@Gary Taylor - sounds more like putin should actually join the e.u. as his activities seem more like the e,u's attitudes than against.
