I wonder if there is a case for the residents to sue the council for loss of income if the wall's impact does affect tourism? I am sure many would chip in to take on Teignbridge if it does turn out to be an ugly disaster. Just a thought.
Why do you not ask AMM to publish her views, maybe as both publish in the Mid Devon Advertiser they decided only one needed to make a statement, who knows? Maybe you could write to her and publish on here her response once you get one for all to see, or she will publish it on her webside in 'her views'. Either way it would be interesting to get her take on this since her background is medium and ...
b.o.liking and wondering I hope you have deep pockets, why? You seriously need to see the pre railway maps of Dawlish, Dawlish Warren and Starcross, the majority of developed areas were marshland. There were even flat bottomed boats that brought goods up to the bridge at Secmaton Lane for Secmaton Farm! This means that anything below Barton Terrace would revert to marsh, as would the Dawlish ...
Bad idea, if drivers in Dawlish did not safely mount pavements then emergency services would never get through, especially in the summer with the holiday traffic. Also I have seen many emergency vehicles parked on pavements, recently an ambulace was in attendance in High Street forcing all drivers on to the pavement to get around it. This device would not know if it was an emergency vehicle or ...
Just what the town needs to hear, with TDC pushing to build the housing as quick as possible.
Thank you Lynne, however, I see that the 10 at Secmaton Farm and the 3 next door have been included to bump the numbers up regarding the Link Road. This is blatent misleading since I have checked their planning applications and neither have or will have access to the link road, but will be accessing onto Secmaton Lane. If they have been included by mistake this is incompetence or if deliberately ...
Yes I remember there was a large bridge that connects area 4 Langdon with Area 3 Secmaton Farm. I also remember that there were 3 options of where the bridge could be put, and that at that point the cost was thought to be around £1million. When that information was published there had been no investigation into the ground which is to be below the bridge and therefore the price was a calculated ...
It baffles me why DCC couldn't have started lowering the ground further back into the site, therefore removing the need for any steps at all! It is not like they are strapped for room! It would have just meant the other path would have merged nearer the mid point of the current path and not closer to the exit. Bikes are catered for, but wheelchairs and buggies the most likely users appear to be ...
