A DAWLISH man will stand trial on charges of using threatening or abusive words or behaviour that was racially aggravated. Ian James Mitchell, aged 40, of Linden Road, denies the charge. A DAWLISH mum and dad have been fined £180 each because her teenage child failed to attend school. South and West Devon Magistrates' Court also ordered them to pay costs of £150 each and they must each pay £72 to fund victim services. The cases were proved in their absence.
