Yes indeed. The increase in funding that has been promised merely moves the budget a little back to the funding lvels of 2015 and does very little to address the shortage of money in schools.
Last month it was announced that after years of local lobbying by councils and teachers for more cash, the Government has announced the south west will get a five per cent increase in per pupil funding in the next financial year. Teignbridge Council says dog walkers have reported a person "pretending" to be a dog warden in the Dawlish Warren and Kingkerswell areas. They say the person has been threatening people with fines.
