£4.9m government grant in other words taxpayers money to fix a problem that should have been resolved at the planning stage rather than after hundreds of homes had already been built!

How about a MODEST increase in services to go with the modest increase in payment, cheeky so and so's. How about a few redundancies from the council as most of the services are non existent or gone all together!

The small increase has been made to ensure the ‘continued delivery of services and new projects’. What a joke, what services! I presume Dawlish council will be putting themselves forward a nice pay rise and another big injection of money into their pension pot in my opinion.

How about keep the counter open and reduce the pay of the manager and supervisors instead!

How about having a police officer who actually walked a beat around Dawlish and got to know what is actually going on. Rather than wasting time talking to the town councillors who seem rather remote from the issues many people are having in Dawlish, in my opinion.

I had a very unpleasant ASB issue with a local family that went on for years 10 years actually and I called the police on many occasions as the incidents unfolded over the years. I would sum up the response by the police as pretty poor to bordering on not interested. I have had other times I have called the police on 101 and had to wait, one time I called  re an incident and waited 1 hour and 45 ...

Improve water quality really, they mean improve profit margins and dump more waste into the sea more like.

Watched two humans, do not wish to say what gender etc as I might get in trouble for mis gendering them and end up in jail for a few years, they had pressure washers with the tiniest brush heads I have ever seen in my life. They spent more time chatting to people than actually working in my opinion. Talk about 1) a waste of money, 2) why not just pressure wash the entire side walk instead. ...

I spoke to a chap a few years ago and he said as a kid, many decades ago, they use to wear chest high waders and go into clear the Brook. Well that would certainly be deep compared to the average of a few inches below water now. You can actually walk across the brook in places literally to the other side and not get your feet wet.
