And believe me Leatash, that sums up the work on the wall perfectly!
Serves them right! Can't they read....... no cycling along the sea wall?
@leatash .......bully for you!
So, no work on the construction of the wall during the day yesterday but come midnight the horrendous drilling started and was still going on at 1am! Why? Today, tide going out, no one working on the wall but tonight you can safely bet that they will be back drilling again so no one on Marine Parade can sleep! It really is perverse!
Time and storms will tell!
Perhaps you and I are looking at different walls! Have you been watching the stormy waves today lashing over the new wall? I have as I live opposite. As I said, perhaps the finished article will make a difference but based on today's evidence it hasn't made an appreciable difference so far.
Well looking at the storm this morning I can tell you it has not made a jot of difference so far. Perhaps the finished article may do so but I won't hold my breath in anticipation.
Well, the new section of the sea wall is being thoroughly tested this morning and is failing miserably. It's as much use as a chocolate teapot! But then I think we all knew that would be the case!
Carer - you should have gone to Specsavers! Oh well if it was breached in the 90s then there is an absolute necessity for the wall!! It was notable yesterday that the waves were still topping the new section so what is the point really?
It's already an eyesore and that's before the graffiti gets daubed on it!! And on a stretch of line that have never been breached in 150 years!!
