Perhaps the powers that be didn't want graffiti in the centre of town????

I wasn't complaining about teenagers. I was complaining about the location of the proposed skate park. Whilst graffiti may be art it is also enviromentally damaging and offensive. And it DOES drag down any area in which it is found.

I have recently visited another town and saw their skate park. I have to say that it was an eyesore. Covered in graffiti, it did nothing but lower the tone of the whole area in which it was situated. I fear for the Sandy Lane Playing Fields. The skatepark should be located somewhere else. Near to Sandy Lane Playing Fields perhaps, but not on them. James Plantation area perhaps? I hope I am ...
