Of course I was disappointed too TheObserver. However its nothing more than I expect from this type of event now (from previous experience). Explaining to a six year old why he had missed the race that he was looking forward to all day was the main issue.
I walked down with my kids, got there at 6.20 and it had already finished. Not impressed. The Carnival Programme said it started at 6.30. Two dissapointed kids and mine weren't the only ones.
I am looking for a three bedroom house with garden. I am on Housing Benefit but top-up is not a problem. I have two children and a cat. Thank you.
Sorry to hear that Flo. I guess Key Stage One have faired better than Two. Hope your child gets the help they need and does well.
My youngest child goes to Gatehouse. I read the OFSTED report but have to say that personally they have been brilliant with my child. Gatehouse have done everything they can to help him and support him. Since starting at Gatehouse nearly two years ago he has turned into a confident and happy boy and I put a lot of that down to the excellent teachers and support staff in last years Reception ...
I am trying to hire out a beach hut at Coryton Cove for a week in August. Teignmouth District Council rent out three of them but unfortunately they are all booked up. Does anybody know anyone who has one of the beach huts and would be willing to rent one out. Many thanks.
We go to Torbay Hospital (and Newton Abbot and Exeter) quite a lot with my son - they are all brilliant with my boy and make a horrible time much better for him :-)
Gatehouse is a great school, my little one started there last September and they have been brilliant. Would definately recommend Gatehouse :-)
After watching the news recently regarding the dodgy dentist (!) I realised that he had also been responsible for endeavouring to raffle off his house - the house was never raffled as apparently he did not sell enough tickets. If memory serves me correctly a random raffle ticket was picked and the winner got a cut of the money that had been collected!!!!!!!! This obviously looks like another scam ...
