Hi all, just a few obsevations as someone who has been here for only 7 months. This is a lovely part of the country and the coast here is spectacular. I split my time between Dawlish and Durham. Dawlish is a small but nice town and most of the locals seem friendly. The town is very clean and even on the weekends I have stayed is not too noisy or troublesome.
