Dawlish needs you

hello! this is just a plea from your local traders......i know times are hard and people are struggling but your local traders are too! i know that people think we don't always stock things you may need but in really simple terms there won't be a high street in dawlish in the next few years if people don't support what we've got now! we have got a butchers, a bakers, card shops, 2 delis, cafes, ...

i hope so! locals are always very supportive of carnival and the christmas market....maybe it would bring the community together a bit more?

i've been thinking about this one quite sensibly so here goes - as the banks have left dawlish, more local people are having to go out of town to do their banking and are therefore spending their money in the towns they do their banking in. teignmouth feels quite continental with its cafe culture - lots of people sitting in the sunshine - give the town a bit of a buzz. in dawlish the pavements are ...

too delicious on the strand is open at weekends at night - you bring your own booze which helps keep your costs down - the food is fresh, local, good quality - we've eaten there a few times! there seems to be more places open at night now - the indian looks like its had a good make over so fingers crossed it will have a good chef! dawlish may want a " good restaurant" but how often would people ...
