As an ex resident from that area I can remember a group of people trying to get permission to have gates erected. I can understand why because there were always a lot of problems, e,g. People dumping bags of rubbish mainly after dark, people walking their dogs and letting them foul, old cars dumped and people from the pubs congregating at night urinating and being sick.
