Also the first 50 ft of beach after the sea wall is also the responsibility of the rail company (network rail) to maintain, hence why ANY work on the sea walletc is carried out by them, the only exception is molly macs and the toilets as they come under duristiction of the coumcil for some strange reason, in addition the first 20 ft of the cliff top and also red rock belong to network rail.
