I think it was a knee jerk reaction and smacks of Big Brother, but hey now we have them, why not The Dawlish Reality Show? Using the Lawn will save a fortune on providing a luxury house. Make lots of money for the things the Town really needs (instead of cameras) !!!!

There are many more problems to come with the breakwater/railway track and coastal erosion in general, due to Climate Change and rising sea-levels. The sea level has already risen by 1ft. since the railway was built and is expected to rise another 2 and a half by the end of the century. I certainly won't be around by then but it could have serious implications for Dawlish and Dawlish Warren, ...
