Just read this in todays Sun. ''Firemen saved a woman stuck in a recycling bin in Dawlish Devon''.
@Nelson , you enter the park via a wooden gate just past the garage, it connects you to the cliffpath. there always used to be one there, its a lovely area to just sit and relax.
Now Lynne, I think your pushing it!
Two new benches at the park adjacent to Marine Garage, three at the rear of the Rockstone funded by the Town Council. Teignbridge Council are paying to install two benches at Coastguards during this financial year. The Town Council has requested Teignbridge to install at least one more next year.
@neilh sloe vodka sounds interesting, have made sloe gin may have a go at the sloe vodka.
Yep, It's on Dawlish.com news.
Have just returned from the town and had been informed that the Police helicopter had been looking for someone who had apparently got onto a bus and produced a gun! They didn't know if it was a real gun or not and therefore the Police were looking for him. Has anyone heard anything to add to this?
That's what i thought. They had a closing down sale sign in their window selling all frozen goods half price, all wines £4 per bottle plus many more offers.
It's a shame the people who took over Bitz and Bobz couldn't afford to stay. They still have their shop in Teignmouth, and the proprietor told me he spent part of the week in Dawlish and part in Teignmouth and while in Teignmouth he still served a lot of Dawlish people, some of which had said to him, can't wait till you come to Dawlish!
The Londis shop at the Exeter Road has a closing down sale.
