General Discussion

It's a bit rich of you Emopitt to lecture others about trolling and respect when you yourself post examples such as this: Is time to stop Judith Chalmers Let the people Decide 16 Dec 2014 I think your nose must be too near your backside Burneside.  The meaning was quite clear to me and I'm guessing everyone else.

Well if Mrs C wasn't such an offensive poster and didn't break the T&Cs so often, perhaps she would not get reported so much.

@Dorian So you don't have a set of pans then.  Timewaster.

13 Mar 2015

Excellent, that's just what I'm looking for right now, how much are you asking for the set? I can collect them, of course.

13 Mar 2015

Don't be so coy Mrs C, who on earth could you be referring to?

Did you see actually these "very basic drawings", if so, what did TDC have planned for the Lawn?

The air show and the carnival are two completely different beasts.  I understand the air show runs a surplus whereas the carnival does not, hence their need for upfront funding.  Or is that not the case?

@michaelclayson I don't understand your logic.  If you wanted the £5k grant to be paid only on successful delivery of the carnival, how on earth were the organisers supposed to do that with no upfront funding available? And I still think abstaining is a cowardly act, you're either for something or against it.

@michaelclayson If you are not persuaded by the carnival's business plan why did you not vote against awarding the grant, instead of merely abstaining? That's a cop-out.

"Monstrosity in the eyes of one person is a delight in the eyes of another" - I suppose that could apply to the monstrous woodlouse that happily got binned.
