The Animal in Distress charity shop is moving to the empty Bits and Bobs shop in the Strand in a couple of weeks time.

Thanks for that Lynne. Didn't see it last night, have just watched it, brilliant.

Dawlish Gazette

So pleased the dog has found a good home. People that abandon any animal disgust me. I drove past Starcross earlier in the week and saw police talking to travellers in the car park, there was rubbish everywhere. I see the clean up bill for the Teignmouth car park could reach £2,000, also what about the lost revenue in parking fees? or do they pay to park their vehicle?

@Paul no just rain, cold and very windy.

Tesco v Morrisons
14 Jan 2013

The supermarket war continues. Just had vouchers for Sainsbury's £3 off a £15 spend at Dawlish or Newton Abbot.

11 Jan 2013

Thismorning I received my Morrisons leaflet with £5 off if I spend £40. Good offer I thought to myself. Next I opened my Tesco one and their offering me £7.50 off a £30 spend. Even better. Thats with Tesco at Newton Abbot or Tesco express Teignmouth.

Memory Lane
9 Jan 2013

Today's Dawlish Gazette.25 years ago.Work has begun to implement some of the traffic orders ,which were agreed last year, in a bid to alleviate Dawlish town centre's chronic traffic troubles. Can anyone remember what work was carried out and also was there a great improvement?

Trees
9 Jan 2013

Very convenient ! I remember when the trees at Sandy Lane were felled to make way for the Skate Park. At the time I remember speaking to one of the men involved in cutting them down and he told me they were all healthy except one. That one was the one by the entrance and it's still there.

I see the Dawlish Neighbourhood Police have requested that drivers do not park or drive over the cycle Lanes along the Exeter Road Nr Sea Lawn Terrace. It's not just a problem there it's the whole of the Exeter Road, cars use the paths and grass verges as car parks.
