You are not over reacting at all...could you have a clean sweep and clear all old messages?

Ok.. YOU open a 'Thai' food place ..I have no problem with that ..let's just see the demand. I see no excitement on this forum for one or is there ???

If you did a spot check in the arcade, you would find all ages from children with families to elderly enjoying a go on the nachines or at bingo. Shame to take away the fun of the 2p slide machines, doenn't everyone remember a tub of coins and doing that as a child? As for 'Thai' food .. I don't think so. You have to remember if you put in 'free' pool tables and 'free' internet, what is going to ...

How can anyone move to a place and then after only a year ...try to change everything? Surely you knew what it was like before you came? I would move out if I hated it so much. They already skateboard round the green ..as they are unable to work out anything else to do. I really do not understand this 'we don't want visitors' in the West Country? It does not happen in other Counties. Yet people living here have the nerve to go on holiday to other parts of the UK and expect to be welcomed! Take away the visitors... with locals shopping away.. you have a dead Dawliah town ...

Yes I noticed the Restaurant .. without mentioning the name again! .. complete with scruffy chalk boards looks very unwelcoming. The sad honest fact is ..locals never support their own town (unless snowed in) and business has to thrive on visitors ..so don't knock them. The grass is always greener etc..I had a case recently when I was shopping in Exeter..picked up Cheese and Bacon ..put it down ...

Just about sums Dawlish up ! ..one thing they can do is lift a pint glass!
